FEMALE EMPOWERMENT

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. And what’s more beautiful than photographs of women taken by women?

In my work as a professional women’s portrait photographer, my mission is to empower women while celebrating their femininity through my female portrait photography. Women are complex. We inhabit many roles: boss, employee, wife, lover, mother, daughter, sister, friend. However, often we find we get stuck in one role and ignore the other facets of ourselves.

I so often find that we women are not confident about having our portraits made. We tend to be self-critical and shy away from the camera. However, during my female portrait photo shoots, I don’t see the flaws women imagine. I simply see character, personality and uniqueness. 

I love to help women explore and reveal the multiple sides of their lives and their character. And to capture the whole woman in a series of beautiful portraits which reveal the many sides of her.

Seeing a beautiful portrait of oneself is enlightening and uplifting. It leaves us feeling fabulous and confident.

After your portrait shoot, I will conduct a ‘beauty edit’ – a gentle retouching to enhance your images.

I offer my portrait photoshoot at my Brighton Studio on location anywhere in the world.
